Day 1

We went to New York City,New York. We flew from Chicago to New York it had only cost $948.00 We got pretty cheap prices. When we got there we started walking around trying to find a hotel. We ended up staying at the Hilton Hotel which was $200.00 total. Right after we did that We went to lunch at Island Burgers and Shakes. Kevin and Michael got the Cowboy Burger for $7.50 Julian got the Deluxe Chile for $7.50. Lastly Sammy got the Tijuana and that was $8.50. With our meal we had Cesar Salad which was $4.00 a piece. The whole entire lunch was outstanding. The total cost was $47.00. We all had to pay $11.75. After that we had a little fun at the NYC Paint Ball. It was so cool when everybody stated shooting Sammy and he was the person who got shot the most. The total cost was $20.00 per person so the total amount was $80.00. Then we went for dinner at the Antique Cafe. Kevin got the 3 Cheese Slider for $15.00, Michael got the Crispy Fried Calamari for $10.00, Julian got the Jumbo Lump Crab Cake for $12.00, and Sammy got the Soup Du Jour for $8.00.The total amount that we spent was $45.00. There was a gift shop their. So we all got a model of the statue of liberty for $15.00. Also we got some cheap pimped out glasses $3.00 each. In all we had spent $72.00 on souvenirs.Then we went back to the hotel to go to sleep and get ready for the next day.

Day 2

In the next day we woke up at 10:35. We left the hotel and went to eat breakfast. We went to the Sullivan Diner. Kevin got the Eggs Benedict for $8.00, Michael got Dutch Lemon Pancakes for $7.00, Sammy got Dutch Bacon Pancakes for $8.00, Julian got Dutch Canadian Pancakes for $9.00. The total amount we spent was $32.00. We had went to walk on Broadway. It was nice. The bad part was that we almost got ran over like three times. When we were walking we saw Pizza Hut. So we went to Pizza Hut. Kevin got the P-Zone Pizza for $5.00, Michael, Julian, and Sammy got the New Tuscani Pasta Pairs for $13.99. The total amount was $18.99. We then rented a bike for five hours. It was so fun to ride around New York City. We had to pay $45.00 a bike. So we paid $180.00 total. Then we returned the bikes and went to dinner at the 17 Murray. They had some nice Italian Food. Michael got some Fettuccini Alfredo for $11.95 and everybody else had linguini in clam sauce for $13.95 a piece. We all thought it was amazing food. The total cost was $53.80. Then we drove home and watch Home Improvement then George Lopez. When it was over we went to bed.

Day 3

We woke up the next morning and thought we should go exercise. So we went outside and jogged three miles around New York. Then when we got back we had got water and then jogged another three miles. We were wiped out so all we did was sit down and play some card games for a while. We ended up playing this game called 40. It was fun. Michael won at the end. Julian got second, then Kevin and last, but had the lead the whole game until the end, is Sammy. When we were done we didn't go get breakfast because it was 12:30. So we went out to lunch at La Bonita. It is a Mexican place. We all got a BLT for $2.25. But that didn't fill us up so we each got different burgers. Michael got a bacon cheeseburger which was $2.75. Kevin just got a Cheeseburger for $2.00. Sammy got a Beefburger Deluxe which was $3.50. Lastly Julian got a beef burger for $1.50. The total amount was $18.75. It filled us up like crazy. That's good because after that we got our stuff together and went to the airport to fly back to our homes. But in the airport we saw a cool picture of New York City and we bought it. It had cost $10.00 because it was blown up. We each got one so we paid $40.00. Our trip was awesome. Maybe sometime we could do it again. By:Michael

When we were done with our project we were sad and happy at the same time. Were sad that we were done with it because we had so much fun with it and we learned so much about different cities that we wanted to do a lot more cities. Then we were happy that we were done with it because we had a lot of pressure on us. But thank you Mr.Smith for making this project up. Our group really had fun and were happy to do your project. Our favorite city was Maui,Hawaii. We had the most fun in our entertainment. We went to a Zip Line Tour, watched t.v., Down Hill Bike Tour, Scuba Diving, and Soccer. They were all fun to do. Also the food was delicious. That's what we liked about our trip we hope we do another thing like it. By:Kevin

Day 1
Our group just came from New Orleans, Louisiana. We came out of the airport at 10:15. It was about 75 degrees so it felt really good when we got out of the airport. The price of the airplane ride was $656.00. The total price of the car we rented was $62.97. We drove around the city looking for a hotel to stay at for 3 days and 2 nights. We found one called the Howard Johnson Inn Downtown Chicago. It was a very nice hotel with very comfortable beds, seats waiting room, and service. The total amount of the hotel was $144.00 per day and we stayed there for 3 days so it was $432.00. Then it was about an hour since we came to Chicago so we went to eat breakfast at the Flatwater Restaurant. It was very beautiful in the outside and in the inside. Kevin got the Flat water Pancake Fuji Apples, Mascarpone-Cream Cheese for $12.00, Michael got the Spicy Eggs Benedict with Canidian Bacon, Poaced Eggs, Red Pepper Basil Hollandaise Sauce for $11.oo, Sammy got the Pancakes Your Way with Chocolate Chips, and Strawberries for $10.00, and Julian got the Lox with Norwegian Salmon, Cream Cheese, Onions, and Capers for $14.00. the total price of the restaurant was $47.00. We got out of the restaurant at 12:20 p.m. and were board s o we went to do some entertainment. We went to the Museum of Contemporary Art. There was a lot of very beautiful paintings and colorful stuff also. There was allot of things I never saw before in my life so when we left around 2:50 I was glad I went there. Luckily it was free so our group was happy about that. Then we were hungry so we went out and drove to look for somewhere to eat lunch. Julian found a place called the Giordano's . We got two medium pizza's for $13.65 x 2= $27.03 was our total amount for the restaurant. Then we were really full so we went and drove around the city to know it more. We saw a lot of restaurants, houses, stores, parks, places where you could have fun so we finally chose that we were going to the park to take a walk. We also played a little bit of basketball. It was Kevin and Michael v.s. Julian and Sammy. The final score was 25- 20 Kevin's team won. We didn't know what time it was. It felt 30 minutes or so but really it passed an hour and thirty minutes. We were thirsty and hungry so we went to eat dinner at the Thai Classic. Kevin got the Shrimp Pineapple Curry for $11.95, Michael got the Orchard Chicken for $8.95, Sammy got the Trio for $9.95, and Julian got Jeff's Catfish for $10.95. the total amount of the trip was $41.08. Then we back to the hotel and watched t.v. until we got sleepy.

Day 2

On the next day Kevin woke up first at 9:45 and he took a shower when he was done everybody woke up already. They got hungry so they went to eat breakfast at the Holiday Grill and Bar. Kevin got the Sausage Cheese Omelette for $5.75, Sammy got the Chop Steak and Eggs for $6.95, Julian got the Ham off the Bone and Egg for $4.95, and Michael got the Denver Cheese Omelette for $7.25. The total amount of the whole breakfast was $24.05. Then we were board so we went to a Chicago Bulls. We were thinking who they were playing with so we just watched t.v. We found out that they will play with the San Antonio Spurs. So we hurried to go buy tickets to watch the game. The tickets price was $60.00 per person and the total amount was $240.00. The final score was 88-98 the Chicago Bulls lost sadly against the Spurs. Then we were hungry so we went to find some lunch. We went to the Sugarplum Catering Restaurant. Kevin got the Chichen Caeser for $12.50, Julian got the Texas Cowboy Steak Salad for $15.95, Michael got the Roast Turkey and Monterery jack for $10.95, and Sammy got the Greek Chicken for $12.50. The total amount of the restaurant was $37.95. Then we went to take a walk in the mall called the Woodfield Mall. It was so big and beautiful it took us a while to look in the stores that looked good and to walk all over the mall. By the time we came out it was about 6.00p.m. We were hungry so we went to eat dinner. We ate dinner at a place called Glen's Diner. It very nice so we were glad we went there. Kevin and Sammy got the Baby Back Ribs for $16.95, Michael and Julian got the U-Pell-Em Shrimp for 16.95. The total amount that we spent was $66.18. Then we went back to the hotel to go to sleep. We couldn't go to sleep so we were watching t.v. Then we got sleepy except Michael. So while everybody was trying to go to sleep Michael was making a lot of noise so we slept around 11:25.

Day 3

We woke up like at 11:45 and we were hungry so we went to eat breakfast at the Orange Restaurant. Kevin got the Pancake Flight for $10.95, Sammy got the French Toast Cob Bob for $8.95, Michael got the Butter Milk Pancakes for $5.95, and Julian got the Popeye's Breakfast for $8.95. The total amount we spent was $34.08. Then hurried up to go to the airport to catch our flight to go to Nashville, Tennessee. By:Kevin

Blog 4/Denver,Colorado

Day 1

When we arrived in Denver, Colorado we took one step out of our car and we felt better! In Phoenix, Arizona it was blazing hot, now that we went to Denver,Colorado it is much colder! The amount we spent on our airfare was $75.50 and the total amount was $302.00. When went to our hotel we went the Curtis hotel (picture on the right.) It was $100.00 per day and we stayed there for 3 days so it was $300.00 in all.Are room is also on the right, but with two more beds. By the time we were done unpacking it was 7:30. So we went to the Randolph's for dinner.
For appetizers we all got a delicious Shrimp Cocktail! For dinner Kevin got the Salmon Latke for $28.00. Sammy got the Center Cut Pork Chop for $32.00. Julian got the Pan Roasted Free Range Chicken for $22.00. Michael got the Roasted 15 oz Colorado Rib eye Steak for $32.00. It was delicious! The total we spent was $114.00. When we were done we went back to Curtis hotel to go to sleep.

Day 2

When we woke up we got dressed up and went to go to play some basketball.We found a fitness area and played in their awesome basketball court. The court looked like we were playing outdoors! (picture on the left.) The place was called Forza Fitness. This place is in the middle of Denver. When we were done playing basketball we were all sweaty and HUNGRY! So we went to Marcos Coal Fired Pizza. We all got Don Antonio Calzone for $14.00. We took it back to the hotel and ate while we played Texas Hold'Em Card game. It was the best Pizza I ever had. The total cost was $14.00. Then we got freshened up for our next event. It was about 3:00 p.m so we went to go see a movie, it was called X-Men Origins: Wolverine! The tickets cost $34.00 total. When the movie was over we went back to the hotel to decide what to eat for dinner. Then we decided on El Fenix. Sammy got the Mexican Dinner for $8.39. Kevin got the "Cheese Enchiladas," for $8.39 too. Michael got the "Monterrey Special," for $8.69. Last but not least Julian got the "Beef Tamales," for $8.19. Man, that was good! Especially the chips and hot sauce. Then we were done with that we went to the hotel to get a good night rest... after George Lopez was over of course!

Day 3

Finally we were packing up and getting ready to leave to New Orleans. But before we left we went to Ihop for some pan cakes. Sammy got the "Rooty Tooty," for $6.89, Michael and Kevin each got the "Breakfast Sampler," for $6.89 each. Julian got "Stuffed French Toast Combo," for $9.69. The total we spent was $30.46. Blog 3/Maui, Hawaii

Day 1
We flew to Maui,Hawaii for our second trip. It cost $497.00 so the total is $1988.00.Our group rented a car for $76.60 per day so the total will be $229.05. Our group went to Maui, Hawaii where we stayed at the Four Seasons hotel. Michael's dad works at the Four Seasons Hotel. He submitted a request on a Family and Friends rate for us. Using his company reservation with personal info on it. We had very comfortable beds and seats at the hotel.After we saw our room in the hotel we went to eat breakfast at the Five Palms Restaurant next to the beach.Kevin got the Five Palms Buttermilk Pancakes for $11.00, Sammy got the Traditional Egg Benedict for $12.00, Michael got the 5 Palms Big Breakfast for $11.00, and the Hawaiian Sweet Bread French Toast for $6.00, and Julian got the Hawaiian Style Omelet for $10.00 the total was $50.00. Later that day went on a Zip line tour.We will take the Lower Mountain Loop for $ 149.00 and the total will be $596.00.Then for lunch we went to the Sea watch Restaurant.Michael got the Thai Beef Bundles for $10.00, Kevin got the Chilled Tiger Pawns for $12.00,Julian got the Pacific Crab Cakes for $10.50,and Sammy got the Seared Alaskan Scallops for $13.50.the total was $46.00 for lunch.Then we went back to the hotel and watched the Simpson's, and Family Guy for a hour or two. After we watched t.v we went for dinner to the Water Front restaurant. Michael will eat the Caesar Salad for $9.00, he will share the Grilled Rib eye Steak for $26.00 with Julian,Kevin will eat the the Chicken Parmesan for $23.00,Sammy will eat the Chicken Parmesan for $23.00, and we will buy two Double Chocolate Brownie for $7.The total price of the restaurants was $104.00.

Day 2
On the 2 second day we wok up at 10:38 am and started getting hungry.So for breakfast we went to eat at Mulligans Restaurant in Wailea,Maui. Kevin will get the Traditional Irish Breakfast for $10.00, and some eggs for $2.00, Julian will get the The Blue Course Breakfast for $8.00, a side of Home Fries, and Bacon for $6.00, Sammy will get the Breakfast Sandwich for $7.00,and a Ceasar Salad for $7.00, Micheal will get the Mulligans Loco Moco for $9.00,the Breakfast Sandwich for $7.00, and the Ceasar Salad for $8.00. The total amount of the breakfast was $72.00.After breakfast we went to take a Down Hill Bike Tour for $80.00 per person so the total was $320.00. You would go down a active volcano which was kind of scary at first, but then I wasn't that scared anymore at the end of the ride.Then we went to lunch at the "Cafe`O'Lei Kihei." For an appetizer we ordered two plates of Crisp Fried Boneless Chicken which was $15.90. It was good. Julian had the"Bill Ebys Makawao Beef Burger" which was $8.95.Kevin had the "Sliced Roast Turkey Breast" for $6.95.Michael and Sammy had the "Prime Rib French Dip" Which both together cost $21.90. In all lunch was $53.70. Directly after that we rushed to go scuba dive. It was $80.00 For two tanks of air and $14 dollars to get a tank refill. One tank was enough for 30 minutes.We all scuba dived for an hour and thirty minutes.So that means it cost $264.00 to scuba dive. it was radical!!After we got on shore we went back to the hotel and sat around the t.v. and watched the new movie "Fighting" which was 9.00 to watch.It was a really cool movie.When the movie ended we went to dinner at Lahaina grill. We all got the same thing. It was the "Center Cut 12OZ New York Steak" which was $10.95 a person. In all dinner had cost $43.80.

Day 3
On the third day we woke up at 11:35 and went to breakfast at I HOP. Kevin ate the Three Eggs and Pancakes for $16.59, Micheal got the Western Skillet for $6.99, Julian got the Viva La French Toast for $5.00, and the Grand Slam for $9.95, and Sammy ate the T-Bone Steak and Eggs for $12.00. The total amount of the breakfast was $43.54. Then we were full so we walked to the park to play soccer. It really helped to not be full anymore. It was Sammy and Michael v.s. Julian and Kevin it was 3 to 2 at the end Kevin and Julian won. Right after that we went to the hotel and packed up to catch our flight to Phoenix,Arizona.By:Kevin

Blog 2/ San Francisco

Our group went to California and looked at the Golden Gate Bridge, and the Gold Rush in San Francisco, California. We saw the Bridge first: there was a big ocean with a really long bridge with cars driving on it. It was also very tall with long ropes attached to it. Also the bridge was finished in 1937 and is the longest suspension bridge in the U.S. The Gold Rush started in northern California. The people who found where the residents of California them selves. Then we went to stay in the Whitecomb San Francisco hotel which will cost $89.00 per room, and we will only use 1 room so it was $267.00. We will go from Dallas, Texas to San Francisco, California in an airplane. We left at 8:00 A.M and arrived at 1:25. It cost $321.00 for each person so it will be $1,284.00 in total, and rent a Dodge Charger which takes unleaded gas. The rent cost will be $52.81 per day, and we will use it for 3 days so it will be $142.62. Then we went going to take a ferry cruise around Alcatraz along with it a tour of Alcatraz, and all this took 5 hours. It will cost $104.00 The next day we had ordered room service for breakfast. We had have pancakes, waffles,oranges,and orange juice. Then for lunch we went to chilis grill and bar We ordered two plates of Fajita Nachos for our appetizers, and that was $16.80.For dinner we are all having sirloin steak which was $46.00 for the total.Then we went to the Warriors v.s. Nuggets game which will cost $80.00 per person so it will be $320.00 in all.The final score was 111-101 the Warriors won but at the end Sammy was mad because he went the Nuggets. For dinner we went to the House of Prime Ribs. Sammy got "A La Carte Prime Rib" which is a few slices of succulent beef served with cream spinach, potatoes, and Yorkshire pudding for $35.85. Kevin got "The City Cut" which is $30.45. Michael got the "King Henry VIII cut which was $44.00. Julian also got the "The City Cut."which is also $30.45. Then we went to take a helicopter tour of San Francisco. It costed $144.95 per person so the total was $579.08.Our total amount of the whole trip was $2900.07.
